Wicklow GAA Coach Education Programme 2016

Wicklow Coaching and Games are running 6 Online Foundation Courses over the next few weeks. All theory material of these courses can be done online with the practical session of courses taking place in venues around the county. The theory part of these courses will go online tomorrow morning. In order to view this course you will first need to register on the new learning GAA website learning.gaa.ie .When you have set this up you will then need to click on the E-Learning tab on main page. On clicking this you then need to click on the coach option on next page. This will then bring you to a map of Ireland where you will then click Leinster and then Wicklow. After this you just need to click the E-Learning tab, open the relevant course and register for the course that is in your area. All coaches must go through all sections of course as there is a monitoring system online that will let us know if you have engaged with the material online. Coaches will not be able to attend practical session of course if they have not engaged in the material online. In addition to this all coaches must have a code of ethics course completed before they can be certified. If you have not done a code of ethics course we have arranged 3 Separate Code of ethics courses (see below) which will facilitate these conditions. Finally below is the schedule and fee for the course and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the tutors on the list below

When booking places in advance for our Award 1 Courses coaches names will only be accepted once the course fee is paid up front when booking. This is a direct result of clubs booking in coaches for the course and then failing to attend. Please contact the relevant GDA who is the course coordinator to confirm bookings with the official registration form provided.
