Our U14s got off to a great start in the Ray Daniels cup by beating Kiltegan. Their next outing is against Coolkenno next Sunday morning in Coolkenno.
Then as we leave 2014 behind we need to plan for our juveniles for 2015. There is a junveile meeting on Thursday 20th November at 8pm in the club house to organise mentors and coaches and anybody interested in helping out for next year. We need lots of help with our teams so please come along to this meeting as it will be the last one of 2014. WE need to start planning for 2015 now and we would like to see some new faces. Everyone is welcome, anyone who has an opinion we want to hear it.
Also great news for our club – Wicklow, Wexford and Carlow host the Feile in 2015 and it is our intention to enter a team and host a team in this event which will see 10,000 boys and girls around these three counties. All this takes place at the end of June. Anyone who was around for the last Feile which was held in 2006 will remember the buzz that it created and the fun that we all had. It created a community spirit where everyone worked together. This is a chance for the same to happen again.
